Hello Resident

Neighbourhood Watch Associations are a support base for volunteers. members and supporters in your policing area of Waltham Forest.  As you may be aware, in your area, there is currently no Association and this can have a detrimental effect on the support offered to you.

As a valued member, supporter, or volunteer of Neighbourhood Watch, we are reaching out to invite you to play a pivotal role in helping us build a stronger team for the new Neighbourhood Watch Association in your area. Currently, there is only a very limited number of people in place, and we believe this is a crucial step to support the ongoing work of Neighbourhood Watch, strengthen the connections within our community, and empower our volunteers.

The purpose of the Association is to:

·  Support the work of Neighbourhood Watch: Actively recruit members, run local campaigns and support the work across the network.

·  Assist and engage volunteers: Offering training, guidance, and a strong support network for all volunteers.

·  Strengthen connections: Building relationships with key partners, including local police forces, councils, and Police and Crime Commissioners (MOPAC), to enhance the impact of Neighbourhood Watch initiatives.

We are looking for passionate individuals like you to help support this vital Association, ensuring it serves as a resource for members and volunteers alike while also fostering stronger ties with local partners.

If you’re interested in volunteering to help support the Association, we would love to hear from you. Your experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to our shared cause will make a significant difference. Together, we can build a strong support structure for Neighbourhood Watch in your area and further the work of this incredible community-driven initiative.

We have arranged for a informal online meeting to enable you to hear about the Waltham Forest Association and how you can get involved. This is on Thursday 17th September at 3pm for just one hour.
